Rita M. MacFarlane Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita M. MacFarlane (Saint John, New Brunswick), born in Minto, New Brunswick, who passed away on February 21, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur MacFarlane (Art) of Saint John, NB; and her son Brian. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Freeman (late Robert Freeman), Donald MacFarlane (Karen), Maureen MacFarlane (Dan Ackerman), Monica Hatt (Brian) and Michelle MacFarlane (David Kersey); and her siblings, Clarence (Luise), David (Marcella), Raymond (Edna), Dorilla, Emery, Lorraine, Ivan and Neta. She is also survived by grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the NB Society of Retired Teachers Scholarship Fund, or any charity of your choice.
