He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Thompson and Kaye Thompson (Currie); his former wife Susan Thompson (Keating); his brother Ray "Sonny"; his parents-in-law, Edward and Gertrude Jacques; his brothers-in-law, Mac Patterson and Edward Jacques; and his great-niece Ashly Mosher.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Jacques; his children, Scott Thompson and Heather Scribner (Roy); his siblings, Paul Thompson, Randy Thompson (Kelley), Gayle Mosher and Lori Waller (Peter); his grandchildren, Josh, Jamie, Brady, Matthew, Emma and Scott; his siblings-in-law, Carole Thompson, Laura Patterson, Donna Jacques, Kim Jacques and John Jacques (Sharon); his great-niece Brouke; and his close friends, Randy, Jack, Kathy and Brian. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
