He is survived by: his wife Carlen (MacKenzie); his children, Rachel McGuire (Dan) of Saint John, Peter Hayes (Cathy) of Mount Pearl, NL and James Hayes (Rhonda) of Norton, NB; his sisters-in-law, Isabel Hayes and Connie Hayes; and his grandchildren, Maggie, Philip (Emma), Brittany, Andrew (Shavelle), Timothy (Kayleigh), Makaila, Seth, Matthew (Sunny), Brendon (Katelyn), Taylor (Courtney), MacKenzie (Margaret) and Rebekah (Damen). He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
