He was predeceased by: his wife Effie Dodsworth (Rector); his parents, Joseph Dodsworth and Edith Dodsworth (Dow); and his siblings, Merle, Robert, Earl, Foster, Arnold, Dorothy, June, Marion and Edna.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin (Ruth) of Quispamsis, Shawn (Debbie Burns) of Enfield, NS, Pam Dodsworth (Larry Fox) of Darlings Island, Heather Dodsworth of North Field and Maine; his brother Lester Dodsworth; his grandchildren, Selena McAuley (Dodsworth), Shane Dodsworth, Jillian Slaunwhite, Dana Dodsworth, Leah Dodsworth and Keaton Dodsworth; and his great grandchild Jackson Scime. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
