He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth and Mildred (Jones); his siblings, Malcom and Jean (Herb); and his niece Susan Dunfield.

He is survived by: his wife Dolores (Rumson); and his children, Lynn Hayes (Brian), Jeffrey (Jodie) and Allan (Tammy). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
