He was predeceased by: his parents, Freeman and Lila Dunphy (Lee) of Ingonish; his brother Paul (Crystal); and his brother-in-law Robert Lipkin (Carolyn). He is survived by: his wife Carmel Vivier; his children, Julia of Saint John and Andrew (Danielle) of Quispamsis; his grandchildren, Matilda, Oliver and Landon; his stepsons, Andre (Laura) of French Village and Stefan (Pam) of Saint John; his stepgrandchildren, Alexander, Thomas and Jüri; his siblings, Carolyn of Delaware, Terry (Jane) of Ontario, David (Mary) of Nova Scotia, Emmerson (Heather) of Nova Scotia, Sylvia (Owen) of Saskatchewan, Stevie of Nova Scotia, Arthena (Russell) of Saskatchewan and Lee (Pat) of Nova Scotia; his sister-in-law Crystal; and his caregivers, Christina, Craig and Josh. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
