He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Stewart and Aurore Stewart (Binette); and his siblings, Gerald Stewart and Joycelynn Worden. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Stewart (Warman); and his children, Cindy Goggan (Kevin), Peter Stewart (Dana Verner) and Kathy Ekstrom (Tony).
