He was predeceased by: his parent Constantin Mitica. He is survived by: his wife Violeta of St. George; his children, Christina Alexandru (Danut Iuda) of St. George and Andrei Mitica; his stepchildren, Marian and Niev; his grandchildren, Antonia, Daria of Romania, Maria, Bianca of St. George and Patrick of Romania; his mother Veronica Mitica of Romania; and his sisters, Marianna and Lilianna. He is also survived by husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend.
In Mahai's memory, donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
