She was predeceased by: her husband Romeo Cyr; her parents, E. Gertrude Hayes (Mckenna) and Joseph Francis Hayes; and her siblings, Maureen and Donald.

She is survived by: her children, Jacques (Leslie) of Dartmouth, Michèle Leger (Paul) of Saint Andrews, Marc (Dawn) of Toronto, Robert (Tara) of Fredericton and Giselle Neil (Steve) of Saint Andrews; her grandchildren, Emily, Luke, Lillie, Philip, Jocelyn, Danielle, Michael, Liam, Aidan (Hannah), Lauren, Colin, Kate, Gregor and Grace; her great grandchild Frederic; and her sister-in-law Leone Cyr. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins.
