Marie Theresa McCann Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie Theresa McCann (Saint John, New Brunswick), who passed away on January 8, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Joseph and Angeline Marie Daigle (Gaudet); and her siblings, Leo, Paul, George, Elizabeth Gallant, Florence Daigle and Mildred Gray.

She is survived by: her children, Peggy Thompson (Peter), Matthew (Bonnie), John (Nicole), Michael, Patricia Wilson (Charles) and Maureen McCann; her grandchildren, Michael, Andrew, Roxine, Tamara, Natasha, Phillip, Russell, Jason and Michelle; and her siblings, Clara Briggs and Donnie Daigle (Elva). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of the Assumption Parish (360 Dufferin Row, Saint John, NB E2M2J8). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at the Holy Cross Cemetery (1215 Sand Cove Rd, Saint John, NB E2M4Z9).
