She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Horace A. Porter and Ethel I. Porter (McAvity); her children, Jack, Peter (Trudy), Gillian Wallace (John), Patricia and Louise; her grandchildren, Bradley, Tim, Rebecca, Jessica, Kate, Jackie, Peter, BJ and Maggie; her sisters-in-law, Nora and Shirley Steele; and her husband John Steele. She was also cherished by ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; many loved nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19, the funeral for Peggy will be held at a later date when all family members can attend.
