She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Murphy and Constance Murphy (Thorne); and her siblings, Peter Ross and Karen Legere. She is survived by: her sisters, Nancy McGuire (Richard) and Susan Rogstad (Kurt); her brother-in-law Don Legere; her uncle Gene Thorne; her nieces, Amy Brewer (Bill), Terri Legere (Caroline) and Donna Tobias (Sam); her great-niece Ruby; her godchildren, Abigail, Ashton, Archer, Claire, Jesselynn, Isabelle and Maverick; and her caregivers, Roxy and Katerina.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Castle Fallsview Funeral Home (309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M2L3). A memorial service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Castle "fallsview" Chapel (309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M2L3). A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (1215 Sand Cove Rd, Saint John, NB E2M4Z9).
In lieu of flowers donations in Margaret's memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
