She is survived by: her parents, Stephen Joseph Downing and Anna Winifred Downing (Bonner); her spouse Gregory Cherry; her children, Joan, Paul (Dean), Don (Shirley), Kevin and Patricia (Mike); her grandchildren, Colin, Jonathan, Ian, Greg, Keith and Reid; her children, Vanessa, Alison, Ella Margaret, Ava Margaret and Theo; and her sisters-in-law, Kay Johnston and Helen Cherry.
