He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Belding and Helen Belding (Craft); his wife Brenda; and his siblings, Doug, Arnold, Verna, Evelyn, Gerald, Leona and Reginald.

He is survived by: his children, Malcolm Belding (Carla) and Marissa Belding; his stepchildren, Beverlee Sangalang, Laura MacNeill, Emily MacNeill and Kevin MacNeill (Rebecca Steele); his siblings, Daryl Belding, Calvin Belding, Michael Belding and Brenda Gillespie; and his grandchildren, Jakob, Jesse, Jaydon, Max, Morgan, Parker, Rachel, Kevin and Michael. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
