She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank and Edith; her sisters-in-law, Edna Saunders and Joan Henderson; and her close friends, Pauline Long and Charlotte LeBlanc.
She is survived by: her husband Albert Powell; her children, Jason Vautour (Sheri), Albert Jr. Powell (Crystal), Tina Chamberlain (Sean), Chasity Darku (Emmanuel) and Tinisha Powell-Gallant (Andy); her grandchildren, Keshia, Isaiah, Niobe, Selina, Isis, Persia, Ayanna, Shania, Odysseus and Wyatt; her great grandchildren, Jada, Leighton and Dezz; her siblings, Frank Henderson and Vivian Banton; and her pet Dexter. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Donations in Lorraine's memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Bobby's Hospice.
