He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas Stephen; his son David Stephen; and his siblings, Douglas, Wally and Dorothy Zed.

He is survived by: his parent Fema Stephen (Corey); his wife Roxina; his daughters, Mary John, Elizabeth John, Halifax John, Theresa John and Saint John; his siblings, Lawanda (Vaughan) and Malcolm Stephen (Joan); his daughter-in-law Karen (Ian); his grandchildren, Natasha (Neville), Adam (Jane), Jacquelyn (Jean Francois), Lauren, Luke, Alexandra and Gabriel; and his great grandchildren, Cooper, Henry, Theodore, Charles and Malcolm. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
