He was predeceased by: his parents, LeBaron Irwin and Angeline Irwin (Gray); his wife Joy Sandra Irwin (Gibbon); his daughter Kimberley Anne; his stepfather Walter Patchell; and his sister Betty Ann Adair.
He is survived by: his children, Bradley (Miriam), Sandra Toner (Kirk) and Terrie Reicker (Ron); his grandchildren, Greg (Laragh), Shawn (Kelley), Melissa (Adam), Brad, Tracey (Kevin) and Natasha (Paul); his great grandchildren, Reese, Layla, Parker, Aoife, Jaxon, Brianna, Hailee, Cameron and Aidan (Irwin); and his great great grandchildren, Matteo and Taison. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
For those who wish, memorial donations in Sonny's memory to The Saint John Regional Hospital Dialysis Department or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by his family.
