He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Tufts and Helen Tufts (McCumber); his son Larren; his grandson Colin; his siblings, Vincent, Irwin (Kathy) and Vivian Margeson; and his son-in-law Bernie LeBlanc.

He is survived by: his wife Donna (Daigle); his children, Lori Sutton, Kelly Dunfield (Greg Melanson), Greg Tufts (Angela) and Shannon Tufts (Wayne); his grandchildren, Alex, Georgia and Lily; and his sister Marlene Forrest (Kevin). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

He took immense pride in his role, and his contributions to the industry were valued by all who had the pleasure of working with him.
