He was predeceased by: his spouse Margaret Jean Kay (Whelpley); his parent Gordon Kay; his sons, Danny and Gary; his son-in-law Brian Gould; his grandsons, Michael Gould and Kirk Gould; his daughter-in-law Cathy Barrett-Kay; and his siblings, Walter Kay and Bertha MacMackin.
He is survived by: his parent Elizabeth Kay (Walker).
