He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Blair and Bessie Blair (Amos); his wife Jean Elizabeth (Charman); and his siblings, Hilda Blenkhorn, Florence Ogilvie and Willard.

He is survived by: his children, Paul (Carol), Halifax, Alan (Betty Jane), John (Sandra), Fall River, Malcolm (Wendy), Hampton and Barbara Hill (John); his grandchildren, Jamie, Jordy, Emily (James), David, Matthew (Heidi), Jeffrey, Christopher, Colin, Sarah, Jennifer (Adarsh), Katie (Jordan), Brianna, Jessie and Jessica; his siblings, Walter and Ella Patriquin; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Blair, Ruth Slauenwhite and Austin Carn. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
