He was predeceased by: his parents, James Kenneth and Bertha Irene Steen (Gray); his stepmother Jean White Steen (Folkins); and his brothers-in-law, George James and Doug Whepley.
He is survived by: his wife Coleen Steen (Reid); his children, James "Jimmy" Steen (Melany), Mark Steen (Tracey), Janet Hewey (Darren) of Saint John and Shelley Edwards (Chris) of Grandbay-Westfield; his sisters, Irene James of Saint John and Ruth Whelpley (Westfield) of Grandbay; his grandchildren, Alyssa Hitchcock (Clay) of Saint John, Nicolas Steen of Calgary, Kailey Edwards, Ashley Steen of Saint John, Dylan Steen of Quebec City, Brittany Steen of Saint John, Three, Colin Ernst of Saint John, Three and Kendra Ernst of Saint John, Three; and his great grandchildren, Brayden, Tyler and Levi. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held at Castle "Fallsview' Reception Center following the burial. Donations to the Rocmaura Foundation, or Bobby's Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
