He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Chafe and Marie Chafe (Lake); and his siblings, Gordon, Leonard, Paul and Joan.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Chafe (Stoyles); his sons, Michael (Kim), Scott (Shaunn) and James (Nikki); his siblings, Ron, Terry, Brian, Randy, Sharon and Marie; and his grandchildren, Jasmine, Evan, Cathryn, Myah and Alexandra. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
