She was predeceased by: her parents, William Joseph Young and Mary Reba Young (McKenzie); and her siblings, Agnes (Wagner), Carmel (Lutes) and William Leo.
She is survived by: her friends, David and Rick; and her siblings, Marie Bitz, Anne Boudreau (Adrian), Elizabeth Woods, Loretta Boudreau (William), James, Edward and Francis.
She nursed for three years in Moncton and Saint John until 1953, when she entered the Sisters of Charity of the Immaculate Conception.
