She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Mawhinney and Irene Mawhinney (Cass); and her former husband Allen R Cassidy. She is survived by: her husband Lloyd; her daughters, Linda Cassidy (Kent MacDonald) of Ottawa, Andrea Cassidy of Saint John, Casey Ferguson (Joe) of Waterville-Sunbury and Paula Meehan (Rodney) of Beaumont; her stepdaughters, Paula Wilson (Kevin) of Grand Manan and Maureen Goodwin of Grand Manan; her grandchildren, Carly, Ashley, Heather, Ryan, Jennifer, Angela, Taneshia and Nic; her great grandchildren, Eli, Charlie, Sebastian, Evelynn, Kaedyn, Deakon, Madison, Kamdyn, Jacelyn, Tyson, Jordon, Ryan, Isabelle and Jaimee; and her brothers, Michael Mawhinney (Donna), Jarvis Mawhinney (Becky) and Ken Mawhinney (Diane). She is also survived by numerous sister and Brother in laws as well as her nieces and nephews.
Karen would have liked donations to be made to Romaro House, Lancaster Baptist Church or a charity of choice.
