She was predeceased by: her spouse Clarence Dorrington; her parent John Austin; her granddaughter Katie Hetherington; and her siblings, Shirley, Phyllis and John.

She is survived by: her parent Hildegaurd Austin (Davidson); her children, Kimberly Pearson (Ron) and Jack Dorrington (Tammy); her grandchildren, Marie, Ashley (Cale), Emily (Jacob), Alexander, Rachael (Brandon), Allison, Danielle and Amanda; and her great grandchildren, Blake, William, Carys, Callie and Finley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
