He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Richard and Suzanne Richard; his wife Muriel Richard (Hodgin); and his siblings, Ovila, Antoine, Camille (Thelma) of Moncton, Florence Daigle and Rita Thibodeau.
He is survived by: his children, Claudette Miller (Randy) of Saint John, Denise Lackie (Wayne Hackett) of Willow Grove, Paul Richard, Raymond Richard of Willow Grove, Rose LaFleur (Lou) of Fredericton, Andrea Richard (Mike) of Whitby, ON, Mark Richard of Saint John and Anita MacEachern (Derek) of Whitby, ON; and his siblings, Jean of Moncton, Maria of Moncton, Jeanne of Moncton and Imelda Fournier of Rogersville. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
Donations in memory of Alyre may be made to the Cathedral Restoration Fund or to the charity of the donor's choice.
