It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joanne Leona Yorke (Saint John, New Brunswick), who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Winston Bull and Myrna Bull (Johnston); her brothers, Malcolm Bull and Larry Bull; and her stepfather Robert Ellis.
She is survived by: her husband James Yorke; her sons, Brandon Yorke (Kelly), Joel Yorke and Daniel Yorke (Rana); her grandchildren, Taylor (Kyle Graham), Adrian (Makayla), Olivia, Hudson and Maya; her great grandchildren, Aubrey and Callen; her siblings, Douglas Ellis (Darrin) and Donna Ellis; her sisters-in-law, Judy (Rick) and Nancy (Frank); and her aunts, Joan Sophocleous, Phyllis Matthews and Anita Williams. She is also survived by step-brothers and step-sisters.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brenan's Funeral Home (111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB E2K3H6). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Westfield United Church (133 Nerepis Rd, Grand Bay-Westfield, NB E5K2Z3).
