She was predeceased by: her husband Johannes "Hans" Rathjens; her parents, Georges Tomme and Rais Tomme (Vandenberghe); her sisters, Anna Desmet and Marcella Baetens; and her brothers-in-law, Severino Daniel, Albriek Desmet and Prosper Baetens.
She is survived by: her son Victor Poelzer (Donna) of Ontario; her great grandchild Jennifer Day (Mitchell); her sister Cecile Daniel (Gaeten); and also, Graham, Charlton Day and Brenda Poelzer (Matthew King).
