It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeanette Catherine (Higgins) Heans (Saint John, New Brunswick), who passed away on January 31, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James H. Higgins and Mina Higgins (Hoyt); and her brother William Higgins (Linda). She is survived by: her sister Elizabeth Ferris; and her stepsiblings, Helene Bursey, Hazel Whittaker and Charles Hoyt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“I was honoured to co-minister with Jeanette for seven years as her pastor. Our four (now adult) children have fond memories of being in her Jr. Choir as her life enriched theirs. Although she wouldn't allow me to sing in her adult choir (for obvious reasons), she did encourage me to be the narrator in her impressive musicals. Even as her health was failing, Jeanette wrote a lovely letter expressing her appreciation for the our team ministry. Save a spot in your Heavenly Chorus, Jeanette!”
