She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Powell and Jennie Powell (Dysart); and her brothers, David, Allan and Ralph.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Douglas Small; and her sister Ruth (late Clayton). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
