He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Donald and Margaret Ferris; his uncles, Raymond and Clinton; and his pet Chewbacca.
He is survived by: his parents, Donald "Ducky" Ferris and Cheryl "Sherry" Ferris (Gunn); his wife Victoria (Siddall); his children, Damien Ferris of Sussex, Kingsley, Declan and Niya of Penobsquis; his sister Chrissy Ferris (David) of Saint John; his grandparents, Leonard, Elizabeth Gunn and Jean Buckley; his nieces and nephews, Alysha, Kaylie, Cody and Jay; and his close friend Lucas Walker.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jay may be made to a Living Memorial.
