She was predeceased by: her parents, Lionel Oakes and Marlene Oakes. She is survived by: her son Juston; and her siblings, Gayle Oakes-Tompkins (Johnny), Carol Oakes-Chase (Randy), Alan Oakes (Pam) and Steven Oakes (Wanda). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
