He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Eloise (Conner). He is survived by: his sons, James Michael Gillespie and Christopher Grant Gillespie (Kimberly); his grandson Brett Christian Gillespie; his sister Carol Dickens; and his nieces and nephews, Patty, Debbie, Cathy, Ann Marie, Doug and Don Conner (Leslie).
