James Freeman Watt Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 3, 2025, at the age of 88, James Freeman Watt (Saint John, New Brunswick), born in Pictou, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father James (Christine Watt); his significant other Ann; his grandson Aaron Macdonald; and his brothers, Earl, Vincent and Bob.

He is survived by: his children, Darlene (Bruce), Rick (Michele), Rob (Syl), Randy (Laura), Debbie (Jeff) and Deanne (Chris); his grandchildren, Kevin (Charlotte), Greg, Taylor, Brett (Emma), Nicole (Blake), Jake, Sara (Adam), Megan (Peter), Jamie, Kate, Olivia, Anna, Graeme, Mackenzie, Mitchell, Madison, Matthew, Jack, Isabel and Regan; and his great grandchildren, Kaylee, Lexy, Payton, Robbie, Lyla and Shepherd.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances of Jim may be made to JDRF, Main Street Community Services in Ottawa or a charity of the donor's choice.
