She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Reid and Mabel Reid (Flood); her children, Walter Louis, Donald Francis and Shirley Irene Boyce; her grandson Matthew Dewar; her siblings, Mary Duplisea (late Joseph) and Francis Reid; her brothers-in-law, Donald McGovern (Brenda) and Kenneth Jennings; and her parents-in-law, Walter Leo and Laura McGovern.
She is survived by: her husband William E. McGovern; her children, Edward McGovern, David McGovern (Kerry), Mary Rose Dewar, Anne Marie Gormley (Peter) and Patricia McGovern; her grandchildren, Jorel, Sean, Jared, Alex, Leeanne, Natalie, Patrick, Jessica and Adrianna; her sister Kathleen Jennings; her sisters-in-law, Marjorie Gatien (late Arthur) and Kay Biddiscombe (late Earl); and her family, Dr. Ashley Wood, South, Dr. Christopher O'Brien and Dr. Jessica Hemmings. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
For those who wish, donations in memory of Inez may be made to the Palliative Care unit at the Saint John Regional Hospital or the IWK Children's Cancer Unit in memory of Matthew.
