He was predeceased by: his parents, Eric Charles Hoyt and Gertrude Christina Hoyt (London); his wife Karen Hoyt (Skeldon); his brothers, Roy Hoyt (Ruth), William Edward (Percy) and Wayne Hoyt; his daughter Cindy Townsley (Hoyt); and his grandson Michael Ferguson.
He is survived by: his sisters, Eunice Nickerson (Paul), Katherine Hoyt and Gloria Walton (Doug); his children, Laura Carr (Larry), Dawna Veinot (John) and Ronald Hoyt (Melinda); his grandchildren, David (Christine), John Jr. (Kristy), Guy (Amanda), Taliegha, Sebastian, Emily, Tristan and Noah; and his great grandchildren, Dominik, Kaishaun, Adrian, Emily, Abigail, Tate, Silas and Khari. He is also survived by his friends, family and neighbors.
