She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Fulton and Edith Helpard (Roberts); her husband Edward "Eddie" Stanley Dunphy; her stepfather Walter Helpard; her brother Harold Fulton; and her daughters, Elizabeth and Angela.

She is survived by: her children, Anne Carter (Brian), Michael Baird (Robin), Roberta McCaig (Tom), Peggy McLean (Arthur) and Lori Dunphy (Glen); her grandchildren, Angela, Mark, Graham, Tabitha, Allison, Aaron, Taylor and Arika; and her great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Colton, Karissa, Hailie, Cohen, Preston, Kendall, Luca, Isabella and Layla.
