She is survived by: her husband Preston; her sons, Leo-Paul Savoie (Marie Therese) and Gary Anthony Richard (Sue); her grandson Luc Savoie; and her siblings, Clifford (Audea), Dennis (Jeanine), Arthur (Barbara), Roger Savoie, Leola Plourde (Alphonse), Alita Legere and Blanche Stewart. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Interment will follow at Oceanview Memorial Gardens, Donations in Germaine's memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Carleton-Kirk United Church, or the charity of your choice.
