He was predeceased by: his parents, Mederic Laforest and Anne Laforest (Pelletier); and his brothers, Paul, Rosaire and Laurier.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne d'Arc Laforest (Ouellet) of Saint John; his daughter Christine Pelletier (Robert) of Saint John; his grandchildren, Gabrielle (John-Ryan), Dominic (Sarah) and Ursula; his great grandchild Clara-Belle of Saint John; and his siblings, Jeannine of Louisiana, Noel (Josette) of Dieppe, NB, Carmel (Belinda) of Tilley, NB, Jacques (Rolande) of Clair, NB and Valdor (Dorianne) of Grand Falls, NB.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Fundy Funeral Home (230 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB E2J2G3).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by family.
