He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Smith and Berta Smith (Beyea); and his siblings, Kenneth, Robert, Ronald (Marie) and Geraldine.

He is survived by: his wife Pat (Marr); his children, Jayson Smith (Lisa Pattman) and Heather Smith; and his sister Arlene Birchard (Richard). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
