He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Nickerson and Ethel Nickerson (Lyon); and his siblings, David, Allan, Stirling Nickerson, Mary Nickerson, Joan Henderson and Vivian Scott.

He is survived by: his spouse Jean Nickerson (Scott) of Queenstown, NB.; his children, Robert Nickerson (Mariette Gray), Anita Peppard (Tom) and Susan Smith (Jeffrey); his brother Gregory Nickerson; his grandchildren, Matthew Peppard, Alicia Templeton (Dalton), Connor, Cameron, Luke Peppard, Emma Smith, Laura Moser (Caleb), Anna, Sarah, Clara, Jude Smith, Angus, Annie, Malcolm and Maisie Nickerson; his great grandchild Jennifer Mills; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Nickerson, Lillian Williams (Richard) and Frank Henderson.
