He was predeceased by: his parent Frederick DeWitt; and his wife Audrey DeWitt (Ellison). He is survived by: his parent Pauline DeWitt (Cochrane); his daughters, Wendy DeWitt and Jill McKim (Ryan); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn DeWitt, Claire, George and Elizabeth McKim; and his sisters, Pauline Branston (late Don), Patricia Gougeon (Andy) and Nancy Wilcox (Richard). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
