He was predeceased by: his parents, Weldon Roy and Gwendolyn Roy (Paul); his significant other Isabel Roy (Gardner); his son Jimmy; and his siblings, Randy and Susan.

He is survived by: his children, Jackie (Sheila), Ronnie (Joanne), Brian (Christine), Carol (John), Elaine (Larry) and Sheri (Christian); his daughter-in-law Janet; and his siblings, Joanne (Joey) and Ian (Jane). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
