Elizabeth Jane McGuire Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elizabeth Jane McGuire (Saint John, New Brunswick), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 15, 2025 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Hoyt and Olive Hoyt (Golding); her husband Bill; her son Dan; and her siblings, Ollie Mallory and Johnny Hoyt.
She is survived by: her sister Ann Coulter of Yarrow, BC; her siblings-in-law, Clare Walsh, Jack McGuire and Judy McGuire; her children, Bill (Sandra), Michael (Andrea Rebolledo), Jane MacGillivray (Larry), Peter (Michele) and Mary Ann Gallagher (Jamie); her daughter-in-law Carol McGuire; her grandchildren, John, Mark McGuire (Victoria), Lauren, Maggie McGuire (Marc Grull), Ray (Ross), Joe McGuire (Alexa), Nick, Will (Taylor), Ben, Miah, Jack, Joe MacGillivray, Mollie McGuire (Jamie Watson), Mary Kate Williams (Ryan), Daniel, Mac, Eliza and Nora Gallagher; and her great grandchildren, Charlie, Connor McGuire, May, Barry Williams, Seamus Watson and Henry Grull.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fundy Funeral Home (230 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB E2J2G3). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church (31 Gondola Point Rd, Rothesay, NB E2E5J8).
