It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Jean Steele of Saint John, New Brunswick, who passed away on April 7, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Hugh O'Donnell Currie. She is survived by: her mother Agnes Coltart Johstone Currie; her brother Richard J. Currie Toronto (Beth) of Ontario; her children, Peter Steele of Truro, NS, Ellen Steele Siekierski (Bill) of Ottawa and Elizabeth Steele Meier (Paul) of Rothesay, NB; her grandchildren, Taylor Steele, Kerri Smith, Greg Smith, Michael Meier and Natasha Meier; and her great grandchildren, William Steele, JJ, Eliana Gallant, Vanessa, Olivia Smith, Rhys, Brooks, Maddox Meier, Barrett, Toren and Colwyn Meier Coppaway.

Donations in Mom's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice or to the Saint John High School Alumni Fund.
