She was predeceased by: her parents, Hayward Wood and Agnes Wood (Truswell); her husband Paul O'Neill Hanlon; her brothers, George Wood and Everett Truwell; her siblings-in-law, Janet Wood, Carol Truswell, Connie Winchester (Vince), Mary Conway (Dick), Helen Vickers (Gerald), Gerard (Theresa), Louis, Maurice (Pat), Francis "Butch", James "Yankee" Hanlon and Patricia (Cyril); her parents-in-law, Edward, Eleanor Hanlon (O'Neill) and Joe Marcon; and her daughter-in-law Charleen Hanlon.
She is survived by: her children, Michael (Charleen) of Stony Plain, AB, Jane, Carolyn and Nancy of Saint John; her grandchildren, Jessica and Alex of Edmonton; her brother Donald Wood (Heather); her siblings-in-law, Cyril, Doreen Marcon, Anne McNamara (Mike), Patrick (Sharron), Dot Hanlon (Louis) and Mary Hanlon (James); and her friend Bette Campbell. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brenan's Paradise Row Funeral Home (111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB E2K3H6). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Redeemer Parish (St. Pius X Church) (316 Somerset St, Saint John, NB E2K2Y4).
