He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Cecilia; and his siblings, Lillian, Hilda, George, Alexander, Donald, Robert and Leslie.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Mackie; his children, Debra Randon (Danny) of Saint John, Edward Mackie (Brenda) of St. Stephen, Bruce Mackie of Saint John and John Mackie (Jacqueline) of Fredericton; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Jillian, Terilynn, Paul, Samantha, Sara and Cindy; and his great grandchildren, Mya, Brieanna, Aria, Emeri, Ava, Reid and Luke. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
