With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna D. Allen (Saint John, New Brunswick), who passed away on November 20, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Allen and Mary (Porter); her former husband Roy Doherty; her husband Gordon Allen; her children, Charles Doherty, Roy Doherty Jr., Emily Doucette, Phyllis Roy and Patricia Doherty; and her siblings, Donna, Barbara, Vivian, Sidney and Glenville.
She is survived by: her stepmother Marie Allen; her children, Stephen Doherty (Larry), Mary MacKenzie (Avard) and Katherine Doherty (David Silva); her daughter-in-law Carrie Doherty; her grandchildren, Amy, Jamie, Elizabeth, Brittany, Brandon, Morgan, Sara, Meagan, Naomi, Noah, John, Alex and Logan; her great grandchildren, Blakely, Peyton, Gabrielle, Matthew, Emma, Warren, Ellie, Issac and Emberly; and her siblings, Wendell Allen, Pat Allen (Jean), Sharon Thompson, Gail Bennett (Ted), Kim Gennis, Dora Marsden (Donnie), Sandra MacPherson and Sheryl Allen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
