With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Gibson (Saint John, New Brunswick), born in New York, New York, who passed away on March 23, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. and Gertrude E.; his wife Shirley L. Gibson; and his siblings, Shirley (Doug), Walter, Donald, Bruce, Jean, Larry, William and Ethel.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lorraine and Jennifer (Marlene); his grandsons, Jeremy and Bauer; his great grandchild Levi; his cousins, Mary Sandilands of Nova Scotia and Lorri Childs (family: Irving Della Torre, Irene Desaulniers); and his friends, Dave Ingraham, Diane Saunders, MaryAnn McLellan, Tammy McLellan, Gary McLellan, Selena McLellan, Pam, Sean, Emily Blanchet, Darlene Trainor, Karen and Danny Stone (family: Andrea McPartland, Natalie Porter Jacquard, Sandra Spinney). He is also survived by family; as well as many other friends and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
