He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Ramsey and Pearl Ramsey (Martin); his siblings, Ron, Daryl, Jimmy and Rosella; and his sisters-in-law, Della and Marian.

He is survived by: his friends, Juston Harrington, Richard, Linda Johnson of Cape Breton and Paul Grannan; and his nieces, Gale Ramsey and Donna Belding (John).
